SiPM (Silicon photomultiploer) is a fast photodetector, which can detect a single photon with sub-nano second time resolution. We are developing an SiPM array to enhance the application area for value creation.

Theme 2: Research on large-area image sensor for dynamic nondestructive inspection

Some quantum radiation beams can penetrate objects but detected with special materials. This research focuses on a very fast imaging detector, which utilizes electron avalanche to achieve a high gain and fast dynamic visualization of fluid and moving objects inside the
artifacts. The use of the imaging system can show internal process and contributes to the improvement of a production method and production process.
